(More customer reviews)The photo shows the watch to have a cyan blue backlight. That is NOT what the watch comes with. The illuminator light is a simple led like light (not even a backlight) with a yellowish glow emitted from the left of the lcd panel. Even the casio product webpage shows the watch as having the same glow. Bad.
That was my biggest dissapointment with this product. Otherwise it does everything its supposed to pretty well and should last me for a long while.

(More customer reviews)OK watch, I bought it because it was cheap and had a 10 year battery. Be careful, the crystal is raised (retarded design) and it's permanently scratched now. I may throw it away as it's hard to read anyway (small display).

(More customer reviews)I had other G-shock watches before, but now my skin reacts to the rubber watch band.The nylon mesh band is great, with the velcro adjustment, it was very comfortable.I like the Casio for its ruggedness and the solar power is a great bonus.I went snorkeling with this watch, only about 15ft., but it worked fine, I didn't need to turn on the backlight.The backlight works pretty well low light and dark rooms.The only negative thing about the watch, are the buttons.You need to push them pretty hard to get the function you want.But you get used to it.

(More customer reviews)This is sort of big for a womens wrist...I am a big girl but it still is kind of big..looks like a mens.I like how the hands automatically set the time when you choose the country...kind of nifty.I thought the whole watch illuminated from the pic but you have to press a button to get it to light up.The hands do glow in the dark but the rest of it does not which sort of sucks...oh well I kept it anyways..needed something to wear when I work out.Its not a bad watch just a few little things that don't make it great.
