(More customer reviews)I bought this watch based on several of the reviews listed here.I recommend that you think of this watch as having an analog display with the capability to displaying digital information in the background.In most cases, the background digital information is hard to read unless you hit the illuminate button.This is great for me because it gives the watch a classic analog look while having all of the capabilities of a digital watch when I need it (which is relatively rare - I generally just need to know what time it is).The watch is full of features. I can confirm that the thermometer does not give accurate readings when you are wearing the watch.

As a final note, I could not find any instructions in the manual on how to adjust the band. [...] You need to follow the instructions for the "Leaf Spring Coupled Type," which is very easy once you see how it is supposed to be done.

(More customer reviews)I really love these watches.I have owned two now.I purchased the first one because it's a sports watch, and I am an active person.It si also very light weight.The problem is, I only got two years out of the band.When looking for a new band, I found only one website that had it, and it was only a couple of dollars cheaper than buying a whole new watch.I liked the watch so much, I purchased a second one.Again, the band only lasted two years.I wish they had a longer lasting band than this, especially since it's supposed to be a sports watch.At this point, watch #3 will be the forester with the metal band.

(More customer reviews)I have had this watch for about a year and it has taken a beating and kept going.It had a lot of nice features.The bad part is that the watchband is very non-standard and I cannot get a replacement even from Casio.But for 15 bucks, which is what I paid for it, I cannot complain too much.My advice is to either buy a Casio watch with a standard band, which is what I replaced this one with, or if you love it just buy a new one, even if you could find the band it is probably the same price as the watch anyway.

(More customer reviews)The watch is a very good looking watch....however: The band is very small, I think to small..I'm a big guy with a small wrist...it barely goes to the first hole on the band and then the slot that hold the tongue is to big and does not stay in place....as to being a leather band...2cm from the watch is leather, the rest is Nylon...when you press the button for light only from 9 to 3 lights up...the top half...forget about seeing anything below that..The lower half of the watch is very small and sometimes hard to read...I have not been out in the sun with it as yet...

(More customer reviews)I bought this watch for its features. I particularly wanted a countdown timer which is hard to find on a dressier watch (as opposed to a huge clunky sport watch.) Note; the case is plastic not metal.If it is like other watches of this type the finish will wear off after awhile and the watch will look shoddy.I wouldn't mind paying more for a metal case.The band on this watch was much too big for my wrist. It can be adjusted but there is no mention of this in the instructions. You can go to the web to find out how.If you are handy you can do it yourself, however it is not easy. Otherwise you have to pay someone to do it.
