(More customer reviews)1999 - one of my other watches had a broken glass - so, I was looking for some watch, which I can use for 1 or 2 months before I can buy a fancy one.I was driving on I35 in Austin, drove into a walmart, saw a couple of watches and made a quick decision to buy this casio which then costed me about $14.

7 years have went by, I never bought another watch - I have received a few watches as gift during product promotions etc.But this is the best.It is on my wrist atleast 15 hours a day - office, sports (not swimming), special occasions ...

It is a fully functional, no-nonsense watch - Illuminator, alarm, large format display of time, day and date on the same screen.

My friends cautioned me against using the illuminator and the alarm - saying that it might reduce battery life.But, I have abused this watch more than anybody else could do, set daily alarms, use the illuminator maybe 4-5 times a month ... - I had to replace the watch strap once due to my misuse.

I have no plans of replacing this watch until the battery lasts.After the battery dies, planning to buy a new one - ofcourse it will be a casio (or maybe a citizen ecodrive).

(More customer reviews)This is a nice watch to wear while you're working or doing stuff around.If you want to wear it as a sport watch I wouldn't recommend it for the reason that it has a metal band, but, I guess you could wear it any time.It's very light compared to some other watches that I own.It's not very big and it doesn't have that blue colored screen as shown in the picture, it just looks like a regular quartz watch.It's got a 10 year battery, I really don't think that any of these cheap watches will last for so long if you wear it day by day.Another thing is that it's screen is not mineral as specified in it's description but hard plastic just like all these Casio quartz watches.I gave it 5 stars because this is a very nice watch for this amount of money.If you want something fancier spend more dough.I am very happy with my purchase and the shipping was very fast.

(More customer reviews)I've been teased "does that watch have a calculator", but then others have said "oh it's not as chunky as I thought it would be". This watch rests lightly and comfortably on my wrist. I like the band material which is smooth and non-irritating to my skin. The best part about this watch for me is the Dual Time since I'm using it for travel. The alarm feature will be useful and is a good back-up for my unreliable phone. It was a great price! I don't plan on buying another watch, so I hope this one lasts a while. :)

(More customer reviews)20 years ago I had another analog/digital two-tone watch that I loved.Eventually, it broke and I've been looking for a business ready replacement ever since.All the other analog/digital watches available seem to be sport or have those HUGE ugly faces with over sized digital parts.
I wanted
a) an analog gold watch with easy to read time
b) always on Month/Day Display
c) Digital watch - disconnected from the analog
d) 24 Alarm not 12 hour like my expensive chronograph
e) Simple stopwatch

I do wish that the analog watch face were slightly larger since I have large arms/hands, but besides that, it is exactly what it appears to be.An uncomplicated analog/digital watch that won't look out of place at the office, but will wake you up in the morning when traveling.Perfect.

And it is only $20, so if it last 10 years like the last one did, I'll bevery happy!

(More customer reviews)I bought this because it looked nice and was priced nice.However, it has one major flaw which drives me crazy-- the buttons on the side are *very* easy to push in, so much so that I am constantly bumping into them and changing the mode, time/date screen, etc. It'll do for now, but I'll get another kind of watch when this one goes.

(More customer reviews)This is your bare-bones basic electronic watch. Nothing particularly fancy, not a lot of whistles and bells - just what I was looking for. That being said, this is my second purchase of this particular watch. I bought the first one 6-7 years ago back when I was in construction. I wanted a nicer looking watch with a metal band that would look nicer when dressed up, but I prefer the digital ones because they keep perfect time. I literally wore the old watch out - my fault, not Casios - and have now purchased it again. The new one is just like the old one. It keeps flawless time, looks really nice, and was so inexpensive.

I simply wanted a nice looking digital watch that had a nice slim profile and kept excellent time. I didn't care for all the other fancy frills or features, all I want a watch to do is keep time.I hope this watch is available in another ten years (I no longer do construction) so I can replace this one when it wears out.Maybe I'll just go ahead and purchase another one now just in case.
