(More customer reviews)This was my second purchase from Casio's Wave Ceptor "Tough Solar" line.Like the first (WVA430DA-2A2V), this one has performed extremely well.It never fails to receive the nightly sync signal. The dual time zones and 5 alarms are handy when needed, and I don't miss the hassle of replacing the battery.
After a year and a half of wearing it an average of 2-3 days per week and inadvertently ramming it into a door jamb or wall a few times, there are some light scratches on the crystal. But, unless you're looking for them, they're not noticeable. All told, it's held up very well.
Other than those very minor scratches, it remains as beautiful and functional as it was when brand new.At this point, the stainless steel case shows no wear at all; the band and clasp bear the expected scratches from use. The clasp's spring-loaded, pushbutton release still works perfectly and has never released accidentally.
My only caveat would be if you place a priority on seeing your watch in the dark, you might be disappointed with this one; the lighted digital display is rather small and dim, and you'll need to push more buttons if you want to see both the time *and* date. So, when nighttime use is important, I'd recommend instead any of Casio's all-digital atomic solar models. Many of them, such as the MTG900DA-8V, can be configured to light up automatically whenever you turn your wrist to look at it.
So, if nighttime use is not a high priority, you should be as pleased as I am with this watch.

This radio-controlled watch receives a time calibration signal transmitted from Fort Collins, Colorado, and signal reception is possible within a radius of about 2,000 miles from the Fort Collins transmitter. You can choose to automatically receive this signal five times a day, or manually update the Waveceptor to the atomic clock.
